Since its September 2018 debut in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump, the supernatural mystery manga Shadows House (シャドーハウス)—crafted by the creative duo Somato—has grown into a major seinen hit with 21 tankōbon volumes in print as of January 2026. The series' gothic charm and intricate lore also found success on screen through a television anime adaptation by CloverWorks, which delivered a 13-episode first season from April to July 2021 followed by a 12-episode second season running from July to September 2022.
